Marianne completed a BSc at Jacobs University, Germany, and recently completed a Research MSc in Cognitive Neuroscience at Maastricht University, the Netherlands. As part of this degree she worked on an fMRI study at King’s College London and wrote her MSc thesis about the role of the amygdala in the anticipation of possible pain with Dr. Yannis Paloyelis.
Marianne works at the University of Nottingham, investigating human pain on a neural, cognitive and emotional level.
